Mitsuhiko Ikura
Mitsu is a Senior Scientist at the Ontario Cancer Institute and Professor with
the Department of Medical Biophysics, University of Toronto. He is currently
Canadian Research Chair in Structural Biology, and was previously a CIHR Senior
Investigator, a Howard Hughes International Research Scholar and a Medical Research
Council of Canada Research Scientist. His primary area of expertise is NMR spectroscopy
of biomacromolecules.

Noboru Ishiyama
Noboru joined
the lab in November 2005 as a postdoctoral fellow. He previously studied electron
crystallography (M.Sc.) with Dr. George Harauz at the University of Guelph and
X-ray crystallography (Ph.D.) with Dr. Albert Berghuis at McGill University.
He currently holds an OCI fellowship.

Chris completed
his Ph.D. at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario under the supervision of

Carol (Shuang) Liu
Carol is from
Beijing, China. She worked at the Beijing Institute of Basic Medical Science
as a technician for five years. She worked at the Beijing Tri-prime Genetic
Engineering Co. Ltd, Department of R&D for two years and at the Toronto
General Hospital Max Bell Research Center, Transplanation Research for half
a year.

Genevieve Seabrook
Genevieve is a Scientific Associate, NMR Research & Facility Manager
in
Dr. Ikura's lab at the Ontario Cancer Institute. She joined the lab in
January 2008. Her area of expertise is soluble and membrane protein
structure determination using State-of-the-Art NMR Spectroscopy.

Matthew Smith
Matt joined the lab in September of 2007 as a postdoctoral fellow.
He previously completed a doctorate in Molecular and Medical Genetics with Dr.
Tony Pawson at the University of Toronto, and a B.Sc. in Microbiology at the
University of Guelph.

Peter Stathopulos
Peter completed his PhD studies at the University of Waterloo under the
supervision of Professors Elizabeth M. Meiering (Departments of Chemistry and
Biology) and James R. Lepock (Department of Physics). He joined the Ikura group
in August of 2005 as a post-doctoral fellow with funding awarded by NSERC.
